If you're thinking, "Giving an e-gift card is sooo unoriginal..." think again! First of all, an e-gift card allows her to pick out exactly what she wants without you having to worry! And second of all, this step-by-step tutorial will make your e-gift card stand out from all the other presents under the tree! After all, a gift wrapped nice gives the gift twice! Right?
E-Gift Card Wrapping for the DIY Diva
Materials Needed:
12 oz. Mason Jar
Gift Tag
Ribbon
Cardboard Toilet Paper Roll
Decorative tissue paper or construction paper
Confetti (you can make your own by hole punching colorful paper!), or Candy
Glue
Scissors
Directions:
Step 1: Glue your decorative tissue paper or construction paper around the toilet paper roll.
Step 2: Insert the covered toilet paper roll into the Mason jar and use your ribbon to tie the gift tag around the neck of the Mason jar.
Step 3: Cut out your E-Gift Card and gently roll or fold it so that you can place it inside the toilet paper roll.
Step 4: Fill the surrounding area between the toilet paper roll and the Mason jar with confetti or candy so that the toilet paper roll is completely hidden.
Step 5: Attach the lid to the Mason jar. You can choose to decorate the lid and/or Mason jar if you'd like, and voila... you have a super cute gift with a hidden surprise on the inside!
E-Gift Card Wrapping for the "Pro"Crastinator
So maybe you're a bit of a last minute gifter and not the craftiest person ever? Don't worry, we've got you covered too! For this DIY all you need is a bottle of wine (which, if you're like us, you have on hand... always!), some ribbon or string, and your Moon and Lola E-Gift card. Yes, that's all!
Step 1: Print and cut out your e-gift card and punch a hole in the corner.
Step 2: Gently loop your ribbon or string through the e-gift card and tie it so that it can fit around the neck of the bottle of wine. We chose to use a sticker to hold the string in place, but this is totally optional.
Step 3: Pour yourself a glass of wine and celebrate how cute it turned out!
