E-Commerce Intern (unpaid)
Job Description
Our E-Commerce Division is seeking an intern to join our team to actively contribute to the needs of our on-line business. You will gain experience with a complex business structure as well as a complex product offering.
Responsibilities:
- learn
- work directly with the e-commerce director to accomplish the goals related to:
- product creation on a Shopify platform
- inventory management of published products
- running weekly analytics
- assisting with SEO improvements
- daily small requests from other departments
- active participation in discussions/meetings which take place across the e-commerce division (i.e. retail sales, wholesale sales, marketing, social media)
- respond to needs within the entire organization as needed even if the need is outside the e-commerce division
Skills Desired:
- passion for learning
- excellent oral and written communication skills
- experience with HTML, CSS, Google Analytics, SEO, Dropbox, Google Drive, MS Excel
- attention to detail, initiative, confidence, and responsibility for one’s actions
- ability to take ownership of assigned responsibilities, willing to accept feedback from others and promote a positive work environment
- flexibility in being able to switch from one task to another as needed
