Valerie Contreras was born and raised in Miami, FL. She comes from a large, close-knit Peruvian family that always has a warm meal available and will make anyone feel welcomed with their hugs. Valerie is extremely proud of her roots and if you see her around, it's likely she'll be hanging with her sister or a cousin or two.
Valerie is also mom to a toddler who keeps her on her toes and she is lovingly embracing the adventures that motherhood brings!
Valerie has always had a love for animals and people and has been an avid volunteer for animal rescues and other local organizations.
She's also an Early Childhood Educator with a passion for helping families encourage their child's development and independence. Valerie (along with her business partner, Julia) has decided to merge her passion and will be launching @littleandkindshop, an eco-conscious online toy shop late summer 2019. These carefully curated toys are for little ones of all abilities, that inspire open-ended and environmentally conscious play.
