This is a one-of-a-kind, original work of art. There is only one and when it's gone, it's gone.
Aquatic blues and teals break against coral and pink. This piece was inspired by a city on Roanoke Island that faces the sound-side of North Carolina's barrier islands, named for the chief of the Croatan tribe. The docks outside of Manteo have a bustling, local scene that I think of every time it begins to get warmer here in NC. In this piece I wanted to capture that energy as well as the colors that I associate with the cities along the coast of NC. All of the beach houses, whether on the sound side or the ocean side, are these amazing pastel colors that remind me of the '80s and '90s.
Pieces are signed by the artist along the outer edge of canvas.
